Custom domains

Start on a platform subdomain. When the page is ready to look like yours, attach a hostname you already own.

Default

your-workspace.argustatus.com

Branded

Create a CNAME from your hostname to the edge target:

status.yourcompany.com  →  CNAME  edge.argustatus.com

Then add that hostname in the console under the workspace domain settings and wait until verification shows as active. Certificates are issued for the branded name after the CNAME is in place.

Why the edge host exists

• Customer DNS points at one stable name, not at the console.
• Onboarding stays the same for every workspace.
• TLS and later automation have a single intake.

Do not CNAME a customer domain to console.argustatus.com. That host is for operators only.
