Overview

Argus Status is one product with two jobs: watch what is running, and show that posture on a public page. The console is for operators. The status page is for customers.

The three moves

  • Watch — add servers and HTTP checks. Data lands in the console.
  • Publish — the same workspace gets a public page with uptime and incidents.
  • Brand — start on a platform subdomain, then attach your own domain.

Where each hostname lives

  • argustatus.com — this site: product, pricing, docs.
  • argustatus.com/app — login, monitors, incidents, billing.
  • edge.argustatus.com — CNAME target for branded status pages.

A workspace also gets a platform address such as acme.argustatus.com before any custom domain is attached.

Start here

  1. Open the console and create a workspace.
  2. Add a monitor and confirm it reports.
  3. Open the status page for that workspace.
  4. When the page is ready to be public, attach a domain.
